Supertramp - Have a few albums but don't listen to them much. Catchy but shallow. "Crisis? What Crisis?" has always been my favorite but I'm pretty much alone on that. The debut is underrated.
Cocteau Twins - Only sampled a few tracks but my impression was that their music is pretty but boring.
Henry Cow - They can be frustratingly ugly and inaccessible even for me but their success rate is pretty damn high. Most of the material on their 4 albums is worth checking out. "Unrest" and "Western Culture" are my favorites, "In Praise of Learning" is probably the most hard to get into. They have good live albums as well. Maybe listen to other Frith projects first like his early solo albums, Art Bears or Skeleton Crew.
John Legend - He's obviously a talented singer but just seems like a Stevie Wonder clone but without the songwriting skills. "Ordinary People" is garbage.
Golden Earring - Just know "Radar Love". Not bad for dumb generic hard rock.
Pearls Before Swine - Sampled tracks because it sounded like it'd be up my alley but it didn't grab me at all.
Kool & The Gang - Only know the hits. "Jungle Boogie" is good but the late 70's/early 80's stuff, though fun to dance to, is cheesy as ####.
