the 1994 shows are a pretty big line in the sand for them though in that that's when they really hit their biggest stride for the first time and their tours started to take on individual identities.
The album they were promoting didn't have much impact on the album though since songs from both Hoist and Rift don't appear on A Live One. Maybe that was on purpose so there wouldn't be overlap so the fans at the time would still need to buy the new albums to get those songs.
Bursting Out's a good pick. It's the last tour where they had their full 70s lineup going at full force (though maybe the Stormwatch tour was just as good, not sure).
Live/Dead is a pretty great summation of that early phase of the band at their best for sure. I'd agree with that one for sure.
