Dave Davies - AFL1-3603 - This sounds like generic new wave power pop from 1980! Like the Shoes or the Records or something! Not sure if it really counts though, since it does sound like the Kinks -- only if Dave wrote all the songs, not Ray. Good, if lightweight.
Daryl Hall - Sacred Songs - a 1978 collaboration with Robert Fripp.
Let that sink in for a moment.
It's pretty great.
Hugh Cornwell - Nosferatu - Along those lines, this sounds like the Stranglers gone full-out goth but with the help of Captain Beefheart's drummer (Robert Williams) on percussion. So it sounds like the Stranglers on a more than exceptional dose of acid after listening heavily to Beefheart records. Honestly, I respect this LP more than I actually enjoy it. Pugeye will obviously love this 10x more than me or any other human being.
