Solo acts don't really interest me as much in this context if they play loads of songs from their original band that pretty much sound the same as the original band. Like John Fogerty plays CCR songs in his solo shows, but they're basically still the same thing as the originals cus the band was more-or-less always just Fogerty and those other guys anyway, (which I'm not complaining about, I saw him live recently and he was great, but it's not really what I'm looking for). Gabriel on the other hand very rarely played Genesis songs live so his solo versions of Genesis tracks do provide something a bit different (like when he did a tiny bit of "Dancing Out..." at one show on his last tour). ditto for Collins solo, he's got a nice solo version of Los Endos, and his solo version of Behind The Lines is a neat oddity (though it still kinda sucks).
The fact that Oh Well was one of the only Mac songs to survive all the lineup changes is pretty cool I think. An archival live album from 1975 would be great to hear I think. They played stuff like "The Green Manalishi" on that tour too. They were still playing some Welch-era stuff at the time as well.
