Coldplay comes to mind. They simply refuse to die. Same thing with Maroon 5. Kanye's first album was 2004, and he's more famous than ever for reasons that have shit-all to do with his music. Rihanna's debut was over 10 years ago, as far as I know she's never even had so much as a single flop. Beyoncé released her most critically-acclaimed album ever last year. I feel like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Drake, etc. came around a little too late at the end of the decade to be specifically associated with them.
Studer mentioned superhero movies, arguably even more ubiquitous than they were the previous decade. Star Wars only went dormant for 10 years, still counts.
