I always felt like that U2 album was just Achtung Redux; just the same stuff from them, with a marginally different lyrical approach.
To your question, idk. Stuff from the lost midpoint of the decade like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah seems pretty much like it never happened. I'd say The Avalanches, but they finally released their follow-up last year and pretty much everyone dug it. To me, Sigur Ros is a weird footnote, but I guess they still have their fans. Post-rock in general doesn't seem like much of a thing anymore. I can't remember the last time I heard about Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Wait, is this just the same question as the earlier thread? Is Yankee Hotel Foxtrot still a big deal?
