I don't like all the bullet time, green tinting, screen pause/swirling camera stuff

and conceptually there's too much double dealing to take any of the "philosophical" stuff seriously, even with the violence aside. There's this big speech about not being able to trust appearances that high school/college students treated like some giant revolution in western though, but then everyone accepts the giant revelation that they've been living in pickle jars their whole life without any skepticism. I'll still give credit to some of the action scenes. Too bad that in addition to all the stuff I just complained about, they have Keanu Reeves' face in them.
I like First Blood alot. I don't like the sequels. The second one had a plot that could have been good if it continued the first movie's cynicism and anger instead of taking it in the direction of "Yay, we won this time, just like we would have the first time if it wasn't for those liberal puzzies!"
