Speaking of that I used to have an honest-to-God Muzak record (I don't know where it got off to but I don't have it anymore) kind of like them but without any soul or personality whatsoever. It was called Stimulus Progression 5 and as far as I could tell it was a demo record for pepping up your employees as the day went along; it started out slowly but toe-tapping-ingly and over the course of the side grew faster and fostering more "production". It was one in a series of demo records (called Stimulus Progression, naturally) but I don't think a fifteen-minute side is nearly enough time to affect your employees' productivity. I made a copy of that LP and gave it to a friend of mine and his band jammed to it.
It had (an instrumental '60s-ish) "I Am Woman" on it (somewhere on the middle of the side) as well as "The Surrey with the Fringe on Top"; when I heard that song in its Miles Davis and McCoy Tyner incarnations I could have sworn I had heard that song before and it turns out I had. I think it was the last (that is, "peppiest") song on its side.
