I don't dislike Distortion and Realism, but they both just kind of only exist in my mind as 3 or 4 stand out tracks and then kind of a shrug for everything else. "Love At The Bottom Of The Sea" is basically just "Andrew in Drag" and then nothing else interesting.

Maybe you're thinking of Future Bible Heroes "Partygoing" or Stephin Merritt's solo "Obscurities". both came out around the same time as "Love At The Bottom Of The Sea" so maybe you were thinking of one of those.
