I always listen to "Sunday" and "Debby" together too and have been tempted to get the complete sessions. I usually don't have the patience for multiple takes of jazz tunes but those recordings are probably an exception. I originally thought La Faro's playing was too busy (especially on "Sunday", which features a solo of his on every cut as a tribute to the man) but have basically come around. His technical mastery pretty much trumps any claims of overplaying, even if I still think he's probably more at home on some think like Ornette Coleman's "Ornette!".
