The two don't sound much alike

Which for me is a good thing because I don't like Moondance that much. Speaking of that I own Tupelo Honey, which is supposed to sound different still, but I've never heard it: a college radio station dumped a bunch of its old records at the thrift shop that charges 10/$1. That was a good HAUL (the first five Peter Gabriel albums, a bunch of Bowie...), almost unheard of nowadays, but the sleeves were in shit condition though the records themselves sound fine. Where was I?
Oh, yeah: give Astral Weeks a chance. I don't know anyone whom it really grabbed right away; I mentioned this somewhere else but they put the worst track, with the most obnoxious vocals, second on the disc (as with Doolittle). Tough through it.
NP: Miles Davis - Live in Europe '67, disc 1 (uh... this is much better heard as one long jazz suite rather than trying to pick out or even recognize individual tracks. It's pretty satisfying that way and a closer listen hopefully will reveal more. I don't have most of the tunes down by heart)
