Let It Bleed - It's good, maybe George fawned over it a little much (and is probably fawning over it even harder now that he's re-reviewing the friggin Stones catalogue YET AGAIN, but I'm not going to check), the best songs have always been "Gimme Shelter," "Monkey Man," "Midnight Rambler," "Love In Vain." I've always hated "Live With Me" and don't care for YCAGWYW anymore (loved it as a kid.). A nice weary album that I now consider inferior to the 1971-72 discs.
Quadrophenia - I give this high marks too but Who's Next and Sell Out both have it beat. I will cop that the huge, fat, overproduced, pounding anthems all coming one after another is not for everybody. One of the most overblown albums of rock's most overblown year. But hey, I like it.
Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere - Yes, it is one of his most praised albums, I love the title track and "Down By The River." "The Losing End" is very catchy to me now! "Running Dry" is pretty drab though.
