I honestly don't remember most of that stuff, sorry. Other than the two most useless characters being dispatched in hilariously sadistic fashion, I don't remember much of note happening for the first half of season 3 (the fabled "Writer's strike" season that all shows endured during this time). Is that when the Michael Emerson character is introduced?
Hay, Member when you said Sawyer reminded you of my comment that Jesse Pinkman was "the most inconsistently-written character of all time?" Wait'll you see what they do with this Michael Emerson guy (who I personally think resembles Thom Yorke's less attractive kid brother, and not like Steve Carrell in Foxcatcher by any means).
I don't know why you would assume I care about Nathan Fillion, but OK. Kate just doesn't need so much time or flashbacks devoted to her, as she's ultimately one of the most inconsequential characters (as are most of these people, but they don't get the same amount of screentime) and at a certain point it starts to feel like the show is trying to make Evangeline Lilly into a "star" or something. It's distracting. I guess she's not bad, but the writing usually is.
Do you watch shows in Super Stereo Surround Sound cranked all the way up or something? I swear I couldn't recall what the punches on this show sound like if you played them for me. But then I also never recognize the Wilhem scream when I hear it, so maybe my ears are dumb.
Tyler Perry was OK in Gone Girl and apparently wasn't told what the movie was actually about.
