I probably prefer Talk Talk out of the two. Talk Talk with it's emotionally intense singer-songwriter atmosphere. Really it's the type of music that could have just as work with a single person on a piano or an acoustic guitar. Although I wish the vocalist has a bit more vocal range than the gloomy whine. I enjoyed the hit single It's My Life and really dig the really cool instrumental piano break in Call in the night boy
Lexicon Of Love has more interesting instrumentation and certainly more fun and dancible. Poison Arrow is a really great catchy pop song and 4 ever 2 gether has a great intensity that's sounds more like The Cure than what you associated with the dance genre.
When it comes to synth pop it's certainly compares reasonably well to the gold standard (Sparks). Better than Balls, Terminal Jive and In Outer Space. Although both of them not as good as Music That you Can Dance to though
Both of them Hex A
