I remember that they did have demo units in one stores. The games were Mario Tennis and a remake of the original (arcade) Mario Bros, although I can't find anything that might be specifically that in a list of games. I remember thinking it was pretty cool (they incorporated something like the much-ballyhooed two-layer stages in Super Mario World where you could play on either side of a fence) but the console's limitations -- down to how and what kind of games could be made -- sunk it. I didn't get a neckache or fatigued shoulders from playing the demo but I was ten years old; just looking at it now makes me want a massage.
People are asking the moon for the system on eBay but it doesn't seem to be selling. Maybe picking one up at Best Buy for $20 wasn't such a great investment. (I wish I had hung on to my NES and SNES games longer than I did -- the cheapest seller on Amazon offering Rescue Rangers 2 is asking nearly $450, though they'll probably never actually get that; regardless I had it with box and manual)
