Silence was great. Of course Anthony Hopkins steals the show.
Philadelphia was very good overall too. It was slick and Oscar-baity but it had tons of emotional resonance, especially the end parts
Wasn't "Rachel At The Wedding" also from Demme? Really enjoyed that too. I like his style and how sometimes he is good at getting a gritty and "documentary" tone like he did on that film.
Anyway RIP.. When he was really good, he was one of my favorite directors.
