The Lynch parody was very funny, yes.
BOT40J is still pretty good but also the beginning of Oliver Stone being really hysterical and over the top. Somewhere in that movie's cast are professional Tim Roth lookalike Jake Weber from Dawn Of The Dead, Cruise's cousin William Mapother who creeped me out on Lost recently, and Bill Allen from the movie Rad. Oh, and the guy who tells Cruise not to tell what he saw happen in Vietnam is John Getz from Blood Simple.
The Usual Suspects has always been a big bummer for me. Not because of the twist (I like the idea that the Spacey character is essentially just amusing himself by making up lies as he goes along) but because it has few really memorable scenes. "Gimme the keys you c***sucker" is one of the good ones.
Posse I recall as being garbage when it was on HBO when I was like 13. God only knows where Mario Van Peebles even is today. He's in Jaws The Revenge, which spawned one of the most memorable Ebert hate-reviews.
