The same songs that I played were the same songs I revealed before. The difference was that the songs before was with a full band while the songs I played on radio was me with just a guitar
I'm not too sure whether the songs sounding better is a compliment of my performance or a criticism of my arrangement ability. But at least the songs pass the solo guitar test
I find it the most difficult part of playing solo is to cut out parts of the song that I can't play by myself. When I do a set later on in July. I essentially have to edit a lot of my songs, cutting out for example a guitar solo I like or a guitar riff or a keyboard part etc because it is incompatible with a solo performance. Some songs are simply impossible to play live with a single person where the interplay of band members are intrinsic to the music (for example I have a song where half of the song is an instrumental break). Although it would be interesting to see how I adapt to this limitation, one song I would play the first half on guitar and the second half switch to keyboard which may be visually impressive
I think I mention in the interview, I prefer band music but band music is highly impractical at least for me personally. The cohort of people I am with are not the type of people who would play in a rock band. I guess if I write songs now, I have to write within the limitations that it has to be reducible to a single person and a guitar or piano which is a frustrating limitations.
I wonder how exactly does my guitar playing is similar to your style?
