Yeah, it was "Feel Good Inc." And the Damon part is the best part (because the lo-fi vocals remind me of "You're So Great," among other things.) I didn't listen to Plastic Beach and never cared for the "Clint Eastwood" song and wasn't really interested in the animation either. Honestly I know little about Gorillaz.
Imagine what a big deal a Noel-Damon collaboration in 1995 would've been. Nowadays almost nobody cares. People probably cared more about Geddy playing bass for Yes!
The Keith Emerson cover art for that album makes him look like a badly aging biker dad.
The liner notes came up when I did the Google Image search, and...."Mr. Emerson braved the stirrups while Mr. Gilbert reached in and pulled"?!? GROSS GROSS.
Did ANY neo-prog or aging-prog act EVER do ANY good cover art? The 90s were REALLY bad for that sort of "obviously done cheaply, with a computer" sort of thing.
