I'm the Music Babble resident "Music Philosopher" who writes lengthy Wagner-length screed/essay about what music should and should not be.Known for the love of posting lengthy list/ranking, writing about rating system, lover of sonata form, Beethoven and Haydn, obsession for Sparks and the lover of Music That You Can Dance To album that everyone else hates, dislike of music written by black people, hatred of modern 20th century classical music and hatred of Richard Wagner (despite the similarities that we both write screeds about music)
So apparently you are a Guided By Voice fan. I just listen to Bee Thousand and don't really get it. What's exactly appealing about that album (or Robert Pollard in general). Is there anything else by Mr. Pollard that you would recommend, perhaps something for someone who doesn't really care much about Bee Thousand
Also most important question..
Do you like Sparks?
