Putting The Great Escape below the albums it neighbours is fair. but worse than Leisure or Think Tank or The Magic Whip? Come awhn. Blur never put out an outright bad album though I don't think.
>Exile On Main St
now you're just trollin' dog.
Most bands have generally agreed upon low points. Like I was about to say that And Then There Were Three was the worst Genesis album, but then I had to remind myself that We Can't Dance and Calling All Stations exist.
Is saying that the worst Pink Floyd album is More controversial? It's only got like 4 songs I care for. Most of the instrumental stuff sounds like the band phoning it in. AMLOR also has only 4 songs I like though so it's close.
My least favourite full Zappa albums I've heard are Overnight Sensation and Apostrophie which are among his most popular. They're fine, but just sound like Zappa playing into the generic Zappa persona the most but without as much to dig into. also I hate they production on those. The vocals are way to loud and the music sounds kinda muffled.
Oh and Chunga's Revenge I don't like that one much either.
But there are plenty of Zappa albums I know people shit on that I haven't heard in full (Thing-fish and those synclavier albums for example).
