The sixth was barely even a real book, it was just a load of transitional bits to set up the finale, I can't remember a single thing about the story or what happens in it.
I didn't particularly mind the very ending, I was more put off by the increasingly wanky meta stuff and his habit of bringing in characters from older books (mostly ones I hadn't read) late in the day and giving them undue plot significance instead of just sticking with the story he started out telling.
