I'm convinced I could probably program my smartphone to make Milli Vanilli music. The percussion is more unbearable than the keyboards. And when they "rap," my God--the dumbest generic rap rhythms imaginable. (Yes, I know it wasn't them.) Erlewine was right: this is like something a computer spit out of its own accord. When did it officially become uncool to use the "orchestral hit" "Owner of A Lonely Heart" sound? 1993?
Hilarious Youtube comment: "I wonder if the Girl ever found out that it wasn't true."
Wait, was "Vogue" 1990? I'm okay with that one.
"Has any other fictional work gotten more mileage out of a character that was dead before the start of the story?"
Weekend At Bernie's--wait, no, I think he's alive at the start.
