>Andrew W. K. used a sound--any sound--unironically? In what song?
OK maybe it changes the meaning if you consider the likelihood that literally everything he's ever done is ironic. He used them a lot is my point. And he makes them work pretty well cus they're usually buried in the mix just enough that they bolster the rhythm tracks surprisingly nicely.
Well Kevin Gilbert knew her in some capacity cus he actually has a couple Madonna credits due to his connection with those producers. Engineering gigs on a couple random songs mostly. Gilbert got a "sequencing" credit on Michael Jackson's Dangerous though those guys too.
I don't know how much influence those guys had on the kind of music Madonna made (Madonna has co-writing credit on everything and with her kind of take-charge attitude I'd assume that she's usually been the primary creative force of her own music) but they worked with her on all her late 80s stuff and some other stuff after here and there too.
