It took like two weeks for the album to get here from Britain; I guess that's the only place they make it and the rest of the world has to import it. Shipping times from the UK/Europe are either two days or two weeks; there seems to be no middle ground.
My hopes are a little higher for this one than they were when I got the last one. The last one wasn't too bad -- it wasn't too good, either, but it was a big step up from Re-mit (which I revisited a few times and actually liked, in the main. Maybe these late-period Fall albums are all masterpieces and I'm expecting another Close to the Edge).
The packaging is about what I'd expect if I ever bought one of those Frontiers Records albums: shitty cover that looks like it was done on Paint, a "booklet" on cheap paper with a list of band members and tracks and a picture of a lightning strike inside and nothing else, and disc art reminiscent of those CD cover thingies they used to sell in the late '90s.
MES broke up with Eleni Poulou. No "girl" songs here, I guess; they were nice to have the last few discs. Favorite track titles: "Couples vs. Jobless Mid 30's" and "O! Zztrrk Man". There are *two* eight-minute tracks, which bodes well.
I'll give it a listen in the next few days.
