other than that, I have a record player back at my dad's house. I've bought a lot of albums in the past couple years and am slowly building up a solid collection, but I won't bring it to my apartment until I get a bigger (and more soundproof) place in Boston (which may well never happen) or a more private place someplace else. so for now I just enjoy playing albums in my old room when I head home for a weekend or some vaca (which is once every few months).
also, when I'm sitting around on the internet, I'll use my computer, which has lots of music on it. however, since I got a smartphone about 6-8 months back, I use my laptop less and less. I also have multiple external hard drives with tons of music on them, but I rarely fire those up (10 years ago I spent tons of time DL'ing and listening to lots of stuff on those drives).
when I'm not commuting/traveling, I mainly listen to music during downtime at night, but I have so much going on... or when I'm not busy, I watch sports too much or, god forbid, try to read. also, having a girlfriend takes away a lot of listening time.
I try to almost always try to listen to music for a little while when I smoke pot if I have the time. I smoke just about every night when I'm free, so I'm either sitting on my bathroom floor with my iPod or smartphone on YouTube with headphones or on my bed. I don't usually have time to do this for very long though.
there's just not enough time for anything... I don't even have a wife or kids. life is going to suck when I get into that junk.
