King of the Hill is good, btw. It seems like a pretty random project for Soderbergh but maybe I'm missing something.
Speaking of, The Underneath, Soderbergh's remake of Criss Cross, is good, and the only DVD release is total shit. Non-anamporphic, I think it's just a transfer from the lasderdisc print. And the special feature is some 5 minute explanation of the benefits of letterboxing. Criterion did a twofer set with both versions of The Killers, maybe they could do it with Cross Cross too.
