Delaware - George Thorogood? "Bad To The Bone" sucks and I once saw a petition to have it banned from movies.
Illinois - I'd have gone with the Pumpkins, Wilco or Cheap Trick too.
Kansas - Yep, never managed to like more than about four songs from these guys. Their prog epics were almost all terrible. And, uh, I can't name any good bands from the state either.
Nebraska, LOL, even worse than Kansas. Oklahoma's gonna get the Lips, I suppose...
The Shaggs - I laughed a couple of times, but sitting through that whole album was mostly boring as hell and the story of the way their dad treated them was pretty embarrassing to read. People who claim to like the album, including Zappa and Cobain, are probably just being posers.
I like Television, have no problem with the glowing reputation of Marquee Moon, but it's, y'know, one freakin' album (I like the followup, but NOBODY EVER TALKS ABOUT IT EVER, it's all MM all the time, and nobody talks about their live album or the 1992 reunion album either). Does that really beat VU or the Ramones or Blondie? No. Oh crap, Sonic Youth, they're #1 then.
Somehow I knew Klosterman would be mentioned when they got to ND.
Ohio - Pere Ubu, you pussballs.
I have NEVER heard of any of the bands listed for Pennsylvania - not a one. (Except the Roots, but duh.)
Utah - LOL. I keep forgetting the Osmonds were Mormons. I know Donny did Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat live, but didn't know he and his sister were still doing a show in Vegas. LOL, Mormons in Vegas.
Wyoming, West Virginia, etc. - Never heard.
