I'm paraphrasing but it basically used the film as an example of how you can have all the right ingredients and still fail. Basically something like "You had Bogie and Bacall starring, Faulkner adapting Hemingway and Hawkes directing and yet...". Yes, I know who was involved and I know the film's reputation. I don't care- it's corny as ####.
I said "Dark Victory" but I meant "Dark Passage".
