I sure hope so. That song is garbage.
>>-Oh so that's where the "electric" bit with Lynch looking into the camera came from, from that third or fourth trailer. Deuhr. Again, I thought Gordon Cole was going to die on us here...
Yeah I thought he was done for too. Most of the stuff from the trailers comes from the later episodes and a lot from the trailers comes from the last two episodes. Seems like an odd choice considering how much Lynch hates spoilers.
This whole sequence is one of my favourites.
>>-I'm with Bobby--that fat woman needs to quit honking her horn. And that was a GIRL in the car puking up crap?
That scene freaked me the hell out. Surreal scene and blaring noise. freaky stuff. my fan theory is that the girl is the eraserhead baby at age 10.
>>-In keeping with my stupid inability to recognise all sorts of actors from the original TP, I couldn't tell that was Alicia Witt, who technically has been working with Lynch as long as Kyle Maclachlan has.
Most people didn't recognise her. Last we saw her she was like 14 or something though, so no surprise people didn't recognise her. Plus they never actually say her name in the show so it's easy to think that she's just some random person.
>>-TELL ME THE GUY AT THE END PLAYING PIANO WASN'T PLAYING "SPACE-DYE VEST." TELL ME!!!!!!! (Okay, he wasn't, but it sure seemed kinda close!!!) (AV Club says it's a reference to Alicia Witt's only episode of the original show, where she was playing piano over the credits--the immortal season 2 premiere.)
LOL, thanks now I'll have to think of freaking Dream Theater the next time I watch that scene. How could you do this to me?
I didn't think that was a reference to anything tbh. Since the rest of the episode didn't feel specifically like it was referring to the season 2 premier.
