You know it duuuude!
>>-Good work too by Grace Zabriskie who still has that Grace Zabriskie creepiness.
She doesn't do too much in this series but she makes all the scenes she does have pretty memorable.
>>-I wonder if they built a new Palmer house, or if that's the old one in the same place....well, looks like they've done a bit of remodeling in the area...
>>-This third or fourth Dr. Jacoby scene doesn't seem so humorous anymore. I don't mean you're not supposed to laugh, I mean by this point he really does just seem like an Alex Jones-type dumbass.
Yeah we didn't need the Dr Amp repetition imo. Meh whatever. It's a pretty minor detail.
>>-Oh, I get it. Lynch has a Gordon Cole scene with the girl from Skyfall because she's French, as a reference to when he said "that's the kind of girl who'd make you wish you spoke a little French" about Shelly in the old series. Hey, I got that one!!
On rewatch I kind of took this scene as a reference to the FWWM "her mother's sister's girl" bit. Like Cole was sending Albert a cryptic message in the same way that he did at the start of the movie. I could be wrong about that though.
>>-Don't we all wish that Harry Dean Stanton had "kept his blood" a little longer...
Sad. But hey, he was like 91 or something, that's a heck of a run.
>>-The synth hum in Ben Horne's wall is Josie Packard's cameo, according to one silly (or not?) AV Club theory....
That was the prevailing theory for a very long time as the series was airing. Alas, it's pretty definitively not the case imo.
>>-I don't know who Tim Roth's character sniped in that kill scene (the prison warden?
Yep, it's Warden Murphy.
>>-(I mean, assuming we're done with Jim Belushi and his brother, those two exited at just the right time, no?)
They still have some more scenes after this. I like them! They're like weirdly wholesome gangsters.
People were ENORMOUSLY divided on the Audrey stuff. They kind of still are really. It's one of the most difficult subplots to make heads or tales of.
