The most recent example is the "It" remake, which I watched with my dad (he suggested it so that's partly my excuse) about a week ago. I was fairly certain I wouldn't like it but watched it anyway. It was definitely better than the miniseries (which I always hated) but still pretty lame. It made me realize that it's just a dumb concept- if anything, it should have been a half hour TV episode (totally seems like something from "Are You Afraid of The Dark?", actually) rather than a feature film, let along 1,000 page book.
Oh ok guess I missed your previous "Last Jadi" post (maybe when the previous board died). If we're talking letter grades, I'd probably give it a C or C+.
I've never really understood people with FB accounts under fake names. Unless you have an actual alias that you use in real life, it seems to completely defeat the purpose of FB. And um, maybe AH didn't respond to your friend request because he didn't recognize your fake name.
"My main reason for bothering with FB at all is Prindle."
There goes your unceasing ability to flabbergast again! Pretty sure I'm still FB with Prindle but I had to unfollow him almost immediately because the constant inane music polls and the sycophantic responses from his "fans" was a nauseating thing to behold.
