The first song, Bright Lit Blue Skies, is actually a 60s cover (I think a couple different lesser-known bands have done it), which explains why it doesn't completely fit in the usual Pink weirdness. I love their rendition, though.
Fright Night is more along the lines of what they do... weird, almost incomplete vocals, synth-driven, poppy, 80s throwback. That Round And Round song was the big accessible hit from the record; another good one.
So anyway, the early shit is quite inaccessible and really weird; the last near-decade has been much more popular with the full band. Lots of catchy tunes, but not a lot that keeps me coming back. He also seems to be kind of annoying... I don't blame him completely, as he seems to be the Pitchfork equivalent of like Lindsay Lohan (or, I guess Taylor Swift would be the more up-to-date comparison), but he sorta brings it on himself with silly comments to the media and such.
