Not very. Like I said, it basically just sounds like Miles's mid-60's quintet. It's probably the best album of Byrd's I've heard aside from "Ethiopian Knights" (which has a pretty cool fusion with a latin vibe + Bobby Hutcherson). A lot of his fusion seems to be bland and/or cheesy though so tread lightly if you check out other albums from the same period.
I'm a pretty big Henderson fan but I kinda know what you mean- a lot of his best performances are on other people's stuff and he often tends to be more conservative on albums under his own name. "Page One" is my favorite too but of the electric stuff I've heard, the best along with "Power To The People" is "In Japan" (pretty stripped down but features an amazing Japanese keyboardist). There's also "Multiple", which kinda reminds me of a mellower and more accessible "B*itches Brew" at times.
