Yeah, late twenties are a weird time. I know it's a cliche but 30 is really a turning point- that's when people really seem to become their true selves. Everything before that is just trial and error. I know lots of people who also went through the whole re-evaluttion/dramatic life changes period in their late 20's. Pretty common, as you said.
I assumed you probably weren't doing much of your own stuff after the month of songs but don't you produce stuff for other people too?
I guess I could see how weed would help with the tedium of recording. Have never been stoned while recording myself, partly because I feel like I'd immediately realize how many other things I'd rather be doing while stoned instead of doing and listening to multiple takes and trying to get the perfect edit.
