"Only thing I know about this movie is that it starts with about five minutes of Philip Seymour Hoffman giving it to Marisa Tomei from behind."
I'm sold. He doesn't happen to tell her that cum's gonna shoot out of her ears, does he?
Only Argento I've seen are "Deep Red" and "Susperia" and I wasn't blown away by either but basically enjoyed both (and agree that the former is better- better Goblin soundtrack too).
I actually may have seen at least parts of "The Black Cauldron" as a kid but don't really remember anything. Yes, I know about its reputation, which is part of why I wanna see it.
"Fatso" is some obscure 1980 comedy about starring Dom DeLuise as a food-obsessed fatty who tries to diet. Was written and directed by Anne Bancroft who also stars. Not expecting anything great but I'm curious, mainly because DeLuise has always been one of my favorite actors but he was rarely featured as a lead, for obvious reasons.
"Freaked - Maybe I should watch this too, because I've seen about ten trillion references to it over the years."
Really? I've never seen it referenced anywhere and didn't think anyone even remembered it. Always seemed pretty under the radar even when it was in theaters and always wanted to see it as a kid around that time. Even got a picture book version of it through one of those "book order" things we used to do with the little catalogs back in elementary school (remember that shit mother####er?). Probably really bad but I still wanna see it, at least for the puppetry and makeup.
My curiosity about "I Love You Daddy" is basically of the morbid variety. I didn't have the highest hopes for it before all the "#MeToo" stuff and once that happened, it obviously just cast the film and certain plot elements in an even sleazier light.
Yeah I own a copy of "In Cold Blood" the book but haven't read it and definitely want to before watching the movie.
"Inland Empire - Don't try to make sense of this and you may enjoy the three hours of sheer darkness."
*Sigh* Yeah, I know. Man, Lynch is so talented but at the same time, so frustrating for me, especially the 2nd half of his career. Haven't brought myself to watch the new "Twin Peaks" yet either.
