I've obviously been hearing the terms "indica" and "sativa" forever

but never really paid attention to them or knew what they meant until I starting going to dispensaries. The general description of each seems to pretty much align with how they seem to affect me. Indica is described as being more of a body high, mellower, better for nighttime. Sativa is described as being more energetic and better for creativity and social gatherings. I'm personally all about indica because I smoke to not give a #### and help me sleep and indica seems to be the best for that, whereas sativa often seems to result in paranoia or "stinking thinking" (where your mind keeps going to places you don't want it to to the point of being obsessive) but I do have friends who are basically the opposite so yeah, there's definitely a person-to-person component.
I also didn't know most of the new names for strains (I only knew stuff from back in the day like White Widow, OG Kush and Grandaddy Purp), which are usually food or dessert based and really stupid and not creative at all. Case in point- the strongest indica strain I've come across is Gelato (guess there's different versions so they sometimes have numbers after them like Gelato #33). Dumb name but it's some killer, knock you on your ass weed. It's almost *too* good (we're talking around 27% THC), like the kinda shit that has you forgetting to look both ways before crossing the street.
BTW I did get some Skywalker OG but was basically joking when I said it turned me into Trung. Was just using it as an excuse for the Trung-level OCD apparent in my response to Matt.
