I *have* noticed however, that with age, I'm more willing to blow my weekends (or at least 1 day out of the weekend) doing nothing at home, which I *never* used to do. Having office jobs for the last 13 years or so has given me a strong desire to get out of the house on the weekends. That's still mostly how I spend them (though again, time of year/weather can be a factor) but now I sometimes feel like what I need most is to do nothing and relax/decompress (the whole "day of rest" thing). In general, age has made me more in tune with my mind and body and what they need at any given time.
I've also always been an early riser (partly because I've always had insomnia) and agree that getting up early is therapeutic, especially if you go out (it's like you've got the city to yourself).
