Grizzly Bear - Veckatimest (great album that really reminds me of the Woodstock late 60's era of American psychedelia - jam bands and hippie flower people, but without all the peace and love rhetoric. Excellent guitar and harmonies)
Of Montreal - White Is Relic/Irrealis Mood (new album. 80s vaporwave/chillwave whathaveyou type of sound but with a Skeletal Lamping-era type spin. The idea was 80s extended dance mixes apparently. At first it sounds like a cheap imitation but then all the really great ideas and hooks really come to light after multiple listens and it sounds less like an 80s imitation. I think it is the best since Paralytic Stalks at least)
Of Montreal - Innocence Reaches (only just got around to this one now too. It isn't bad at all, and I'm kinda wondering why people hate on this, but most of it is mediocre for Kevin's standards I guess. Still, there are some fantastic songs on here. Why do I even like "A Sport And A Pasttime"? The production is crappy and ridiculous like its a Katy Perry song or something but still sticks in my head like glue.)
Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool (revisited again last night. This really grew on me over time, although I still have a little trouble remembering how certain songs go though. Very dense and warm and fuzzy production - that is great as music to listen to while I'm stoned. I really enjoy most songs and think its their best album in years.. even better than In Rainbows but I was never crazy about that one)
Hawkwind - In Search Of Space (kind of a shame this is the only one I really care about from them. They did some interesting stuff later in the 70s but I like this one the most, especially "You Shouldn't Do That")
Can - Ege Bamyasi (How crazy as #### is "Soup"?? What a great album, total classic)
Olivia Tremor Control - Explanation II; Instrumental Themes And Dream Sequences (a bunch of throwaway quiet and ambient pieces; sometimes just a lone piano playing the same thing over and over, or dogs barking in the background, or other repetitive sounds. It's not impressive or memorable at all but I really enjoy this a lot as background music lately. Really good reading music. Supposedly its a companion to Dusk At Cubist Castle but I dunno..)
Jad Fair - Zombies Of Mora Tau (not sure if I mentioned this one in my last Whats Spinning but this is such a crazy and dysfunctional little punk EP. It is so amaturish, noisy and makes no sense. You'd think Jad has absolutely no musical talent, yet it all works somehow. This guy is hilarious too, unintentionally or not)
Ozric Tentacles - Erpsongs (Not sure if starting from the very beginning was wise from this band, but it is pretty good.. Some cheesy sounds here and there but not bad. Not sure if I want to go forward. Tabs made me a bit curious to just hear something from them in a previous post when he mentioned some guy said they were similar to Gong)
Plastic People Of The Universe - Egon Bondy's Happy Hearts Club Banned (only heard once, but pretty crazy stuff. Obviously huge Zappa fans but they have a bit of a style of their own too at times. Needs more listens)
Downloaded:
'The Disintegration Loops' as well (do I really need to hear this?)

Ariel Pink "Pom Pom" (think I'll love this, but didn't get to it much yet)
