b###hes Brew is as far from repetitive as I you can get

Especially when you look at how those cuts were performed live, so I agree with that. But it's also kind of ugly (in a good way) in spots. It's my favorite studio Miles Davis album (and I am as big of a fan of the guy as can be found). I do think Sextant (and the rest of that trio) measures up well to the other fusion albums Miles put out, though.
Then again, people thought I was crazy on facebook for saying that I think Filles de Kilimanjaro is maybe better than any of the studio albums after it, except for b###hes Brew.
