Richard III was my first exposure to the play and I liked it then. Have been meaning to rewatch it, I recently watched the much lauded BBC Henry VI 1-3 and Richard III which are all near complete and considered the most creative entries into the Complete Shakespeare series from the 70s and 80s. I plan to rewatch Olivier's version and also see the Ian McKellen version.
I've always liked Olivier's Henry V which is certainly the most creative of the three, but like with Hamlet he really narrows the conceptual and emotional scope of the play. However, I think it's easier to forgive with Henry V because of the historical context.
