Not one? Aren't you a music reviewer? Laurie Anderson instantly popped into my head and there's also Nina Hagen and Diamanda Galas. And though Amon Duul obviously fall under the same krautrock umbrella as Can, I don't think the vast majority of their classic albums can really be called avanta garde like Can's. I do agree that Renate Knaup is a much better singer than Yoko, though.
