it depends on your opinions of Gordon or Gil Evans-era Miles. Objectively, both "Go" and "Miles Ahead" are good albums, they're just not really my cuppa tea. In fact, "Go" is perfectly fine, a solid hard bop set- I just don't think it's as good as its reputation would have you believe (usually called Gordon's best and often called one of the best jazz albums of all time) but again, that's partly due to my general opinion of Gordon. And as far as the Kirk album is concerned, it mainly suffers by comparison to his other stuff but is pretty good for what it is.
Yeah I've seen the live Brown/Roach album under different titles including "The Best of..." which is misleading. Could be wrong but am pretty sure it's just a single show.
