I grew up on his stuff, my parents were really into him.

I think humour with his level of self-awareness tends to age pretty well. I seem to remember the record sleeve proudly displaying all his most scathing reviews, a gag Stewart Lee does to this day.

He's still kicking around at 90 incidentally.
