Everything is among the best Tull did, IMO, except for White One Duck stuff. Which I don't think is bad or anything, just not all that memorable.
To say that this is "more of the same" is preposterous. It sounds nothing like Thick as a Brick, A Passion Play or Warchild. If anything, it sounds like a follow-up to Aqualung, as stripped down as it is, and with so much electric guitar. Possibly the best playing by the Hammond/Barlow rhythm section in the catalog. It perfectly sets up the Songs From the Wood/Heavy Horses renaissance (the less said about Too Old to Rock and Roll the better).
