Traffic - all their albums excluding Far From Home, which I'll get to sometime. What an odd band. Overall I'd say Low Spark is their best overall album, even though it's the sort of thing that's not really up my alley - all the tracks are at least pretty good, and the title track is never obnoxious even if it doesn't really justify its length. The first two albums have higher highs but also some crap.
I have some familiarity with Mason's solo work, but figure I'll probably also go through Capaldi's and at least some of Winwood's.
Janelle Monae - Dirty Computer. Pretty good, but based on a few listens it's not as good as Electric Lady, which was itself not as good as Archandroid.
The Beloved - Happiness. This is good. Reminds me of a cross between Underworld and, I dunno, Suede.
Television - The Blow Up. Been a while since I heard this, but it's very good.
Devine & Statton - The Prince of Wales. The singer was previously in Young Marble Giants - this is a little more cutesy but still recommended to anyone who likes that band.
John Lennon - Plastic Ono Band. I don't care much about him anymore but this holds up well.
Etienne Daho - Pop Satori. Very good French synthpop.
Boards of Canada - Music has the Right to Children. A lot of really good stuff, a lot I don't care for.
Grace Slick - Manhole. Good fun.
