I'm entering the phase of album production where I have to mix the dang thing so that it actually get finished one of these days, which means I'm in for a month or more of listening to the same 9 songs over and over and over and over. But I've managed to squeeze in a few things.
Janelle Monae - Dirty Computer
Diminishing returns, but since she started off so dang fantastic the diminishing returns are still pretty great.
John Coltrane - Ole
This is excellent and I have very little to say about it.
Grateful Dead - May 1977: Get Shown The Light
Started listening to the shows on this set. Only played 5/5/77 so far but it was pretty great. I've seen people say that this was one of the Dead's best series of shows ever and that seems like a pretty accurate assessment so far.
MGMT - Little Dark Age
Probably their best album.
