Writing for yourself is a really healthy thing to do. That's actually something that helps me a lot. I've got a google doc where I just write pages and pages about my feelings every day or every week or however often I feel like I need to get something out. It a) makes me a better writer since I have regular practice, b) gives me somewhere to vent where I don't have to worry about what others might think and c) helps me sort through my thoughts and gain some perspective on things. It was largely though writing reflections like that that helped give me self-awareness to make the push to admit that maybe I shouldn't keep everything in and that maybe I do need some help.
