I have never considered tropical storms from the Southeast Asia Sea toward Viet Nam as serious threats to main coffee areas.
We expect this 9th Storm to bring some "end-season" rain in coffee region -- such end-season rain gives farmers good condition (wet condition) to spray fertilizers before their coffee garden enter coming months of dry season. November is 1st month of six-month dry season in Viet Nam.
However I don't see any rain in Dak Nong, Lām Đồng and Gia Lai provinces today (as of 8 p.m. 20).
Weather is still good for drying cherry by sun this week (as of now)./.
Good trading to all.
