(Bloomberg) -- World largest coffee exporter collected 31.4m bags of arabica-beans this year, slightly above the 30.7m bags estimated in September, Brazil crop agency Conab said in its fourth report on the crop.
Estimate is 36% down from 48.8m bags produced in 2020
Adverse weather conditions, mainly dryness, hurt yields in key arabica producing areas, Conab said
Nation’s total coffee production seen at 47.7m bags versus 46.9m bags estimated in Sept.
Compares with 63.1m bags in 2020
Robusta-coffee output is estimated at record 16.3m bags versus 16.1m bags in previous forecast
That is 13.8% above 14.3m bags collected in 2020
